IMPACT OF A GARDEN

Learn how one garden in the little town of Woorabinda lead to a community revolution.

It all started in a local school where many First Nations elders worked closely with the school community to create a substantial school garden where the children could learn how to grow food and stay healthy.

This project has grown to be a long-term community wide project where the Fitzroy Basin Association has made strong relationships with the Woorabinda community that has built on collaboration, respect and adaptation during difficult times. This video presentation first appeared at the 2021 National Landcare Conference.
