The agricultural sector could reach net zero emissions by 2040 if they scale up existing Morrison government programs, a new report reveals.

The strategy, modelled by Ernst and Young for Farmers for Climate Action, involves electrifying transport, reducing methane, overhauling land use and improving land management.
